Beansprouts Stir-Fried (Vegan)

Beansprouts Stir-Fried (Vegan)

Serve: 1

Ingredients: 

150 gram                                 Beansprouts

50 gram                                   Tempeh or tofu – cubed and fried

35 gram                                   Mushroom – thinly sliced

20 gram                                   Spring onion – thinly sliced

10 gram                                   Red chilli – thinly sliced

1 clove                                     Garlic – finely chopped

2 tablespoon                            Vegetable oil

2 tablespoon                            Water

1/2 tablespoon                         Light soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon                           Sugar  

1/2 teaspoon                           Marmite or yeast extract (vegan)

 

 

 

 

Method

Gently fry the mushroom and vegetable oil in a non-stick frying pan, until cooked.

-Add the garlic, beansprouts, spring onion, tempeh and chilli.

-Fry until the beansprouts are slightly softened approx 2 minutes.

-Season with soy sauce, sugar, marmite and water (optional).

-Fold all the ingredients for a further 2 minutes.

-Serve immediately with noodles, Thai Jasmine rice or brown rice.

Tip:

– Stir-fries are all about quick cooking. So make sure you prepare all ingredients prior to cooking.
