Serve: 1
Ingredients:
150 gram Chad – chunkily sliced
25 milliliter Vegetable oil
1 clove Garlic – finely chopped
1 Red Birds Eye chili
1 teaspoon Soy sauce
1 teaspoon Soya bean paste
1 tablespoon Water
1 pinch Ground black pepper (optional)
-Put the vegetable oil in a frying pan on a medium to high heat.
-Add the garlic and red chilli. Fry until it turns a light golden brown color.
-In goes Chard, followed by the soy sauce, soya bean paste and water.
-Flash fry until the chad is cooked at your preferred crunchiness. Sprinkle with the ground black pepper.
-Transfer it onto a serving plate. Serve immediately as a vegetable side dish.
Tip:
-Stir-fry is a very quick side dish. Make sure you cut and prepare all the ingredients in advance.
-Use Miso paste, if you can’t find the soya bean paste in your supermarket.
-This is inspired by one of my favorite Thai dishes ” Pak-Boong-Fai-Dang” AKA Morning Glory Stir-fry with Chilli.
-You can replace Chard with other types of vegetables. Click here for a recipe which I have done in the past “Brussel Sprouts in Miso Paste”
