Chilli Sugar Dip
Ingredients:
2 tbs Sugar
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Red chilli – finely chopped
-Put the sugar, salt and chopped red chilli into a small mixing bowl.
-Mix the ingredients well with a teaspoon.
-Transfer the mixture to a small dipping bowl.
-Cut the fruits of your choice. I love this Chilli Sugar Dip with thinly sliced Guava, Granny Smith Apple, Pineapple, Fresh Green Mango, Starfruit or any sour fruits.
-Keep in a cool and dry place for no longer than 6 hours.
Tip:
-I know this Chilli Sugar Dip might look odd, but Thais love dipping their fresh fruits in various type of fruit dippers. Watch out for other fruit dip recipes.
-Make sure you keep the cut fruits in the fridge until the last minute before serving. Especially on a hot summer day.
-Depending on the environment and temperature, I would prefer making this dip fresh just before serving or make sure you serve within the next 6 hours.
-Happy cooking!
