Garlic and Pepper Prawns
180 gram Raw king prawns
2 clove Garlic-finely chopped
2tbs Coconut Oil
1/2 tsp Fish sauce
1/4 tsp Ground pepper
1/4 tsp Sugar
1/4 tsp Water
1 splash Dark soy sauce
-Heat the coconut oil in the frying pan. Then quickly add garlic, prawns and stir-fry for approx 1 minute.
-Add the fish sauce, ground pepper, sugar, water and dark soy sauce. And stir-fry until the prawns are cooked. Usually, it will take no longer than 5 minutes.
-Serve this speedy Garlic and Pepper Prawns with steamed Thai Jasmine rice and fresh vegetable of your choice. I am having it with the cooked brown rice and quinoa.
-The secret of a good stir-fry is the heating. Turn the hob to medium to high heat while cooking Garlic and Pepper Prawns and make sure you keep an eye on the pan at all time as the ingredients are easily get burnt.
-You can replace prawns with other types of meat. Adjust the cooking time accordingly.
-I love serving the Garlic and Pepper dish with creamy fry egg.
