Easy Thai recipes

Smoked Salmon Sushi

Serve: 1

Ingredients for sushi:

100 gram                  Cooked sushi rice

1/4 tsp                       Mirin

1/4 tsp                       Rice vinegar

1/2                             Ripened avocado – sliced thinly

1 pinch                      Salt

1 pinch                      Sugar

4 slices                      Sushi ginger

4 slices                      Smoked salmon

1/4 tsp                       Lemon juice

Ingredient for wasabi cream cheese:

1 tbs                            Cream cheese

1/2 tsp                        Mirin

1/4 tsp                        Wasabi

1 pinch                       Salt

Method

-Put the cream cheese, mirin, wasabi and salt in a small bowl then mix well.

-Put an aluminium kitchen ring onto a plate. Then assemble the ingredients from the bottom to the top. I layered sushi rice at the bottom followed by the avocado slices, wasabi cream cheese, rice, sliced sushi ginger, wasabi cream cheese, avocado slices and on the top  the smoked salmon.

-Drizzle the lemon juice, rice vinegar and mirin on top.

– Serve this Smoked Salmon Sushi with light soy sauce and enjoy.

Tips:

If you are a wasabi fan, I would recommend you to mix it with a soy sauce dipper and do not add in the cream cheese.

-Replace the smoked salmon with a crispy katsu pork or chicken if you are not keen on fish.

– No rice vinegar in the cupboard? Don’t worry, white wine vinegar or cider vinegar are just fine.
