Turkey Steak In Sticky Sriracha Sauce

Serve: 2

Ingredients:

375 gram                     Turkey steaks

5                                    Garlic clove – finely chopped

3 tbs                             Sriracha sauce (green nozzle)

1 tbs                              Dark soy sauce

2 tbs                             Honey

2 tbs                             Fish sauce

1 tbs                              Coconut sugar

1                                    Spring onion – sliced

1                                    Lemon

1 knob                          Butter

Method

-Mix the Sriracha sauce, fish sauce, dark soy sauce, honey, coconut sugar, half a lemons juice and garlic in a mixing bowl.

-Use 2/3 of the sauce to marinate the turkey breast for at least 3 hours.

-Preheat the oven to 200 Celsius (fan assisted).

-Put the knob of butter into a very hot pan. Then add the marinated turkey steak and fry each side for approx 2 minutes.

-Transfer the turkey steak onto a baking tray, glaze the marinated juice onto the steaks, put thin sliced lemons on each steak and cook them in the oven for approx 10 minutes.

-Plate up and garnish with spring onion. This flavourful Turkey Steak In Sticky Sriracha Sauce are perfect with cooked Thai Jasmine rice and vegetables of your choice (I used Pak Choi today).  Enjoy…

Tip:

-Marinate the turkey steaks overnight for an intense flavour.

-If you have got Sriracha (orange nozzle), use only 2 tablespoon as it is from the spiciest range. Happy cooking!
