VEGAN MINCE KRA PAO

Vegan Mince Kra Pao

Vegan Mince Kra Pao

Ingredients: 

100 gram                                 Plant-based mince

80 gram                                   Mushrooms – thinly sliced

30 gram                                   Onion – peeled and sliced

8 gram                                     Basil leaves

1                                             Birds eye chilli (red) – chopped

1 clove                                     Garlic – chopped 450 gram    

2 tablespoon                             Vegetable oil

1-2 teaspoon                            Light soy sauce  

1/2 teaspoon                            Soft brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon                            Yeast extract (Marmite)

 

 

 

 

Method

-Put the vegetable oil in a frying pan.
-Gently fry the mushrooms until cooked.
-Add the chilli, onion, garlic and vegan mince. Stir and fry until the mince is cooked and slightly dry. Add 1-2 tablespoons of water if required.
-Season with light soy sauce, yeast extract and sugar. Fold all the ingredients together.
-In goes the basil leaves and fold.
-Serve immediately with Browm Thai Jasmine rice. Enjoy!
